At the hdpk, the Student Office and the Campus Service Centre work closely together.

For your initial queries, all questions relating to records and proofs of performance and the submission of applications and certificates, please come to the Student Office.

The Campus Service Centre will assist you with questions about course fees and provide advice about administrative matters. They will also be happy to help with certificates, applications and other issues relating to certification.

Sources of advice and assistance

The Student Office is the central contact point for students at the hdpk. They provide assistance with issues relating to course participation and marks awarded.

The Student Office is responsible for the following:

  • initial queries and issues
  • receiving notifications relating to administrative matters (e.g. exams, grants, de-matriculation)
  • changes of address
  • the completion/collection of certificates
  • Submitting evidence of health insurance and declaring the loss of a student travel pass or ID card

The Campus Service Centre provides assistance for students in matters relating to administrative and financial questions. Here, semester documentation is prepared and student de- matriculation is processed.

In addition, they support students with project proposals and obtaining refunds for expenditure on library cards.

Appointments procedure:

Please write your name in a time slot on the list displayed on the door, or arrange an appointment by email or telephone.

The Campus Service Centre deals with the following:

  • semester documentation (matriculation, enrollment certificates, student travel passes at the beginning of a new semester)
  • extension of studies
  • de-matriculation
  • leaves of absence
  • proof of health insurance
  • lost student travel passes/student IDs
  • financial matters relating to studies (course fees/social security contributions)
  • financial prizes
  • welcome money
  • settlement of expenses for student projects and outlays
  • Agreements on subsidiary subjects/additional contractual agreements

Since the beginning of the 2015 summer term, an hdpk Moodle has been available for students to use.

It serves to support co-operative teaching and learning at the hdpk, offering online “course and administration rooms” that contain information, materials and study activities, as well as all application forms for students and teaching staff.
